Nothemba Mxenge

Nothemba is certified Integral Coach through USA-based New Ventures West and the UCT Graduate School of Business’ Centre for Coaching. She is also a qualified Results Coaching System and a Multiple Brain Integration Coach.

She has been coaching since 2013 and empowering individuals, teams and organisations to live life purposefully, consciously and meaningfully.

Nothemba completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering (UCT), a Master’s in Business Leadership, MBL (School of Business Leadership, SBL) as well as certificates in Management Development (UCT) and Brewing from the Institute of Brewing & Distilling (UK).

She began her career as a brewing technical trainee at South African Breweries (SAB), where she quickly advanced from being a production team leader, business area manager, process engineer to a senior leader responsible for the company’s World Class Manufacturing (WCM) strategy implementation, entrenchment and sustainment. She therefore has vast expertise in continuous improvement or lean principles, tools, techniques and methodologies, utilising them to attain operational excellence.

She later joined African Explosives Limited, Mining Services (AEL) as Group Manufacturing Excellence Manger responsible for the crafting of and deployment of the organisation’s operational excellence agenda.

Her 14-year long corporate career in technical, managerial and leadership roles built a solid foundation in business leadership, personal development, change management, performance management, project management, learning and development and continuous improvement.

Nothemba’s professional and personal experience ignited a passion for empowering individuals, teams and organisations to live life purposefully, consciously and meaningfully leading her to a career in professional coaching. She has completed a Brain-Based Coaching certificate (ACC) (Results Coaching System, Neuroleadership Group), a Multiple Brain Integration Techniques, mBIT Coaching certificate (mBIT International) as well as an Associate Coaching Course (ACC) and Professional Coaching Course (PCC) from the Centre of Coaching (UCT Graduate School of Business).
